Projects view
Here we will explain what the project view in HelmutFX does and how to use it:
Despription of the projects view:
On the left side you can see the icon of the project. So what type is the project? In this case it is Premiere projects. Helmut4 also supports After Effects and Audition. Here you can see the name of the project. Here you can see a tag. The tag is a meta data field to sort projects logically. Here you can see in which group the project was created, in which category and with which template or from which template. Here you can see when the project was last modified and it is not about whether a real change was made, but whether the project was touched. That is, if you open the project and close it again, that counts as a modification. Here you can see which user did this and here you can see which user created the project. Furthermore we have a refresh button on the right side. This is to show new projects created by other users in the same group, because if a filter is set and you have filtered over the entire list, you may not want new projects from other users to change that filtering or the view to always jump back and forth. So if a user from the same group creates a project, this will be shown in the form of a color change and you can press on it to show this project. Furthermore, we have a hidden overlay in FX. This hidden overlay shows custom metadata. It is possible to filter this metadata. Please have a look at the video “Filter”. And then there is an action menu, which gives you access to functions that are also explained in other videos. More info about Helmut4: www.helmut.de There is one more special feature. Helmut4 supports a feature, which means you can click on one or more projects. These are displayed in a list and the corresponding actions, which apply equally to all projects selected, are displayed. If not all projects support the feature in that case, that will be indicated as well. So let’s say you want to unlock three projects and none of these projects that you have selected is locked. Is the unlock function accordingly not available? Last but not least, you can of course also open projects by tapping on the name of the project and thus opening the project.
